Pray to the Honda gods lol Jk start by draining your oil pouring lucas oil stabilizer and fresh oil and filter depending on how bad it is you may want to pull your plugs crank it and see if any oil shoots out being that you drove on it im pretty sure that whatever water may haver been in the cylinders is already mixed in with your oil, you should consider running a k&n dry charger for now on at a very minimum its a water repelant cover that helps with water splashing etc or get the aem bypass deal good luck man

That lil bit of water prolly helped. Small amounts of water breaks up the carbon build up on the pistons and stuff. I heard of old mopar guys doing it before they had seafoam. But theres plenty of additives you can run thru ur fuel system to keep everything clean like seafoam, and stp makes sum. Glad ur motor is fine.

If your motor started back up, you're more than likely ok. As the guy above this post said, a little water is good for the motor. It helps break up carbon.

This happened to me with my Dinan CAI on my BMW back in '04. Freaked me out, as it was one of the most ferocious rain storms (standing water on the highway). CEL light came on, and I thought I hydrolocked the engine. Sat for 5 minutes, started her up and drove fine. I changed the oil soon after that and checked the plugs, and ordered a new Dinan filter & Dinan water resistant sock. That was about 85K miles ago. Compression is great, no issues. But admittedly I got lucky.
