what should i use for a y8/a6 combo?

Ive heard the B7 belt works but is somewhat loose....and the Y8 belt is tight, but also works.

The general rule is to use the belt to the corresponding head.

i used a y8 on mine it was a little tough getting it on there but other than that its fine

Friend of mine used a VX on his Mini Me.
