Default Tune Ups at dealers?

i wanted to get my oil changed and possibly spark plugs cause my car isnt getting that great of gas mileage. and i remember reading in auto zone that changing spark plugs and 02 censors help gas mileage. sooo would it be better to get a tune up at a dealer and get all the stuff from Acura or do it the auto zone way

well, if u know what ur doing then doing it the autozone way is cheaper, u dont need to replace 02 sensor unless they are completely dead, unless u wanna spend about 300-400 dollars on 02 sensors. basically just change the oil/oil filter and spark plugs. just call acura ask them what kinda spark plugs come oem/stock for the acura (rsx?) then go to autozone or where ever it is cheaper and buy the spark plugs from there. Also buy a mobile oil filter from autozone, then go to wal-mart and buy a 5quart jug of mobile 1 fully synthetic, that oil kicks ***! good luck man

Don't go to autozone... Are you crazy? You have a performance vehicle, buy good parts.

You aren't going to get anything good from a company that sells FRAM oil filters.

DC5 spark plugs should not need changing till 105K miles (platinum). O2 sensor does not need change unless a DTC is set and it is malfunctioning.

Your gas mileage problems are elsewhere....
