Default Just bought an ingalls camber kit

i bought the ingalls front(bolts and washers) and rear (camber arms) camber kit. Im installing them tommorow. The install seems to be straight forward. Anyone else rocking this set up? How will the camber kit(s) hold up if im auto crossing often? Ive been told the front will wear and may not hold up to heavy abuse. Just wanted to know if anyone has experience with this. Thanks.

You should have no problems with the rear camber kit, but the fronts may need adjusting from time to time.

Thanks.

I kinda cheaped out on the front camber kit. It'll do for now. Ive looked at a couple other brands for the front. Its tough to justify the price of a skunk2 or other premium brands. The skunk2 one does look like it will hold up to abuse over time.
Any recommendations on a front kit?

Well, I'd recommend getting an adjustable mount for the top of your struts, aka. a Camber plate.

I have the ingalls camber bolts for both the top and bottom bolts on the front struts. First of all they are lying about the 2 degrees of camber, I was at 1.4 in the front and replacing both bolt and maxing out the adjustment (facing them awayfrom each other) put me to 2 degrees. so I only gaind .6 degrees . On the plus side though I have ran plobly about 30 autox runs and a track day and had now problems with them slipping. I would recomend that once you get the camber set where you want it mark them with a paint marker from the bolt to the strut so you can easily see if they rotate. As far as the camber plates go (I have some) and the suck for our top toe adjustment car. For every little amount of camber you add the wheel will drasticaly toe in, not a good trade. I managed to get 2 degrees in front with about 1/8 inch toe out and the car handles great, just my 2 cents. good luck

The install was easy, no problems.

I have Tein super street damper w/o the pillow ball upper mounts. Ive been told that I cant simply order the upper mounts with the camber plate adjustment. A dealer said it was not available for mine, I would have to buy a new set of SS to get the pillowball upper mounts. True?
Are there camber plates available? Ive tried to search and cant find anything.

I guess im gonna miss my cornering with the rear camber at -3/4, but I wont miss buying new tires every several months. Ill be tracking it next week after the alighment gets done so ill let u guys know how it feels in comparison.

Thanks guys

tein sells the pillowball upper mounts separately according to the new catalog but they arent available for the em/es. which is really weird cuz the ss w/ pillowball is available for our cars.. but yes its true that you would have to buy the set w/ pb mounts again.

You can use the pillowball mounts from the DC5 (RSX) or the EP3 (Civic Si). They're the same top-mount.
