Okay, I'm thinking of doing an itr swap in to my 96 Integra LS/SE. The only thing I'm wondering is whether I'll be able to use my current aftermarket 4-2-1 header (off my B18B)...I heard that maybe the height is different in terms of where the exhaust ports are located... ALSO, would the exhaust ports be differently-sized between my header and the itr head?

I did search some but couldn't find conclusive answers.

You'll need a hew header.

 

are your sure ? i thought b-series parts were interchangeable

 

I think the 4-2-1 ones will fit but not the 4-1, not sure though

they are interchangeable i've used them both in either configuration the 4-1 type-r header is a little close on the ls but ls on the b16 head (on the ls block) would still fit also

 

The height of the vtec head is taller, but I'm not sure if it is only above the exhaust ports or not. It probably is only taller above them, but I'm really not sure 100%. There might be some clearance issues with the oil pan if the header is shorter for the LS...
