ok i took my PR3(b18c5) head to the machine shop to be P&P when i got there they said that my head was shot due to the Burrs on the Camshaft seats and they won't or couldn't machine it down to fix the issue.

so i have been looking around for a used head. i have seen them going for around $500-$700 with and with out internals and the new head from Sons acura is going to run me $1500( w/o any valves) shipped


my question is.

1. find a shop to fix the old head and have everything hot tank and reassy.
2. buy a new head and call it a day
3.buy the used head and take the chances with it.

all this is going to be on a b18c5 block and BOOSTED. what would you do

burrs? I'd get a second opinion, sounds like bs to me.
