Default H22 VIbration

I have a H22 in my 96 civic coupe

It vibrates like crazy!!!

How can i stop this to be very minimal or even zero vibration.

I'm not sure what kind of mounts it has but there not hasport mounts i know that for certain... would buying those mounts kill my vibration issues cuz it gets to your hands after a while. Or am i just SCREWED

By the way i brought the car w/ the h22... so another question is was the motor possibly not put in right or is this a common problem

Does it vibrate at idle, or while driving? Does it get better or worse when you rev?

My money is on firm mounts.

Let's keep it in here for reference sake. When you're in neutral and rev the engine, does the vibration get better or worse?

The firm (likely polyurethane) mounts are probably what is causing your vibration. I don't know of any companies that would make a softer mount for your swap. Maybe somebody else can chime in.

Make sure that everything is properly tightend down and the mounts don't look worn or beat up.

What I'm saying is that you probably already have polyurethane mounts. These are much harder than the soft rubber mounts that the car came with stock. Because of this, more vibration from the engine is transferred into the car. If the mounts were softer (rubber), you wouldn't get as much vibration.

What kind of mounts do you have? Any pics?
