i went to see it today and drove it. this is from what i experienced..
looks like head is leaking oil (guy said he took head cover off to give to friend cause friend liked the red color so he put a black one and didint replace gasket.).
when vtec engages looks like it burns not much but jus a lil blue smoke.
did a 5 lug conversion and the white itr rims he said 1 is fucked so its making a banging noise like its wobbling? and if u take a sharp right turn it feelsl ike something grinds.
guy said hes changing rims to gunmetals then getting alignment and everything will be fine...
he has jdm front end conversion, the front lip seems a lil alignment issued, how hard is this to fix?
he has a o2 sensor cel so he needs to repalce that on the cat he said..
the abs doesnt work since he did itr conversion, riding on tokico blues he said. engine bay looks okay. has vtec engagemnent perfectly on 5800 rpm
he has jdm cluster that redlines at 8.5 so which rpm is redline for the gsr?
he has recaro's but they look dirty and not well kept, but r fine other then stains, he has itr back seats. looks like they were jus layed in there, cause theres no screws or bolts ..
needs paint, ,, few scratches nicks and dings..
he listed as 11,5, im looking more twords 9... it isnt cert or etested either so i gotta do that too. + pull the head and change gasket, change cover, put tower bar and rear 23 mm sway bar and do interior cleaning cause its dirty and some other odds n ends, + has no system in there,
wut u guys think should i offer 9 g's? and pick this up give it some love and have it goin strong?, first thing id do isfull tuneup of course.
has a rebuild title, i need to run the vin.. how/where do i do that?

motor doesnt run blue smoke, until vtec engages and im redlining, it prolly isnt, i just took a turn and came back and it looked like there was smoke but nothing ot notice, i was looking for it thats all, so maybe nothing serios?
but i get to see the car again b4 i offer him a price and ill be driving it/inspecting more, so what should i look for? or what should i do to ensure this car is runnin smooth? i have a compression tester ill do that for sure..
but a simple 1000$ into the engine should fix that **** no?

for $11k i'll sell you my gsr with jdm front with clean title. I did the jdm conversion and my abs works fine.
$11k is too much for a car that has a rebuild title and needs engine work.
I have 170k on my engine and its clean. No smoke. He obviously abused the car.
redline on a gsr is 8200rpm offer like $6k-7k
