If you're serious about this, read a few threads mate - it's the best way to learn. There's plenty of info about your subjects.

The gauge cluster is a nice swap, but there's really no gain from putting standard bolt-ons onto your car. The most you'll see from an intake, header, and exhaust combination, would be in the 5-10whp range. Pretty weak, considering the cost to get there.

I believe there is allready wires set in place to upgrade your cluster. and as far as more power, get a turbo kit and leave it at low psi boost, that'll give you a nice boost and keep your stock engine safe.
Cheers

Most of the gauges out there will be plug and play, as far as different car models are concerned. You may have an issue with the Hybrid model of gauge, since it is a lot different.

your going to need the gauges from an lx if you want them to work in your dx unless you re-pin the clip.

i bought a set of ex gauges from ebay and they didn't work, but lx gauges were plug and play.
