Default Gauge Cluster HELP

So I just bought an 05 Accord sedan and there's one thing I don't like about it. The the current gauge cluster is white and green, which isn't too my liking. However, I really like the gauge cluster (color scheme) on the 06-07 coupes. So i was wondering if all I needed to do was just buy the 06-07 gauge cluster and install it. I'm assuming it's not the actual bulbs, but rather the cluster and the coloring of the actual cluster. Am I right?

hmmm. OK, thanks. What if I went to a Honda dealership and asked them to do it instead. I'm assuming then they would, and parts and labor would cost....$600?

hah no.. they probably wont do it and no... $600 aint gonna cover it. if you go to the dealership.. it will prolly run you 300 for just the cluster... and the wiring is different so they gotta work on that if they even decide to, and it prolly wont be waranteed so if anything goes wrong your on your own. reason is 06-07 model has a different plug in the back and has more electrical functions on the cluster than the 03-05 cluster.

I can;t speak about other dealerships but we wouldn't touch that for a variety of reasons.

well its not 100% not doable... it will work if you put some time into it.. just basically get the wiring diagram and match the wires from your 03-05 plug to the pins for the 06-07 cluster.. im currently working on it and most of it works except i have the srs light on, havent had time to figure that out yet.
