hooray SV brethren. I'm starting to get jealous of the naked guys. The styling is growing on me. Congratulations on the sweet pickup.

gorgeous... GORGEOUS!!!

your next mod should be 1" raising links (unless your short), the BEST $40 bucks ive spent on the bike. turn in and look are so much better.

edit: i wish i knew how to spell.

Nice, i like the naked black framed 03+'s.

why are some SV's silver framed and others black PC? did it depend on the color choice?

i've always liked the dual projector conversions on the 03+ nekids.

03-04 SVs have a silver frame, 05+ have a black frame.

A 1" Raising link is a good idea, or you can just raise the fork tubes up like 10mm or so and that will also get you better turn in. But with the stock suspension you may experience bottoming out if you start changing suspension geometry. Depending on weight though.

The seat cowl looks nice.

what sliders are those, I have a set of vortex but i'm switching over to motosliders due to some horror stories i read about other sets of sliders. waiting for the rain to stop here so i can get the motosliders on actually. Nice bike though is that the Suzuki oem seat cowl?

They are the Suzuki OEM sliders. I am not sure about them. I have heard that they tend to shatter if the bike gets layed down. Hopefully I won't need them though. Yeah that is the Suzuki seat cowl. Slip on will be a little longer yet. I really hate that rear fender so that is next on the list.

How does the SV compare to an F4i as far as power and handleing? I'm kinda interested in picking one up.

the SV's got a totally different powerband. lots of tq and power down low, and runs out of grunt up high--the exact opposite of the F4i.

handling is ok with OEM shocks. gixxer suspension bits make it a great handler.
