my coolant and condensor fans won't turn on?
i have a 89 accord. i recently noticed that when i stop my a/c gets hotter and so does my engine. when i start driving everything becomes cool again.
i have checked my fuses and replaced the cooling fan relay, thermostat and radiator cap. i haven't had a chance to test the fan motor yet, but my question is, are they some how wired together? if one goes out then the other is bad too? will i have to replace them both? or is there some hidden relay i am unaware of?
this is my daily driver, grocery getter, kid picker upper. i really need to get this going right.

i popped the hood and watch them as the car began to raise in tempature, no go.
i just wonder if some how they are wired together. if the wires run to the coolant fan first then to the condensor fan.

Well the fans are not connected together like some car. Some connecters are below the fan shroud. But u can test them at the same time. Usually with A/C on, both fans come on at the same time.
Also did you do a flush? new coolant and stuff? And did you also bleed the air outs of the system?

i have new coolant in the motor, recently had a 2 hoses pop and i replaced the thermo at the same time. the system was bled during the process and coolant is flowing, i can see it when i take the radiator cap off.
