No, don't buy it. You wouldn't benifit from a VTEC controller on a stock motor. You would only slightly benifit from this on a built/boosted motor.

even then its wack, just get ecu chipped, and atleast a street tune, be 897435734 times better than a vfac

Mine worked flawlessly on my turbo setup. Just be aware that it advances timing when used with a larger injector. Nothing wrong with the vafc this guys just jumps on the **** talking bandwagon. Chipped ecu=one map
Vafc can be tuned again once a new go fast goody is added.

chipped ecu = 1 map??? lmao since when????? im pretty ******* sure i have 2 on mine with a switch...its 2007 man, vfac dont cut it no more.

i mean we can solve this easy by setting up a Poll....who votes for vfac, and who voted for chipped ecu....i bet $90843538459843 chipped ecu wins.

Here is a lot of bad info.
Vafc might help on even stock motors with some boltons only when properly tuned with wideband and preferably on dyno. When I first bought my car and tuned it with Vafc I gained around 5whp. I personaly don't like those piggy back controllers. For the money you could get your ecu chipped and run Crome, Turboedit, Neptune or Hondata. The tuner then can edit ignition and fuel tables, change the Vtec point, rpm limitor and more. You can even have launch control, shift light and full throttle shift set up.
Just beware of those already tuned chips as found on Ebay!

VAFC is whats considered a "hack" (think computer terms), I wouldn't use it if you're serious on building up an engine. Although I have seen them put to good use I would never put it on a stock motor as everyone else has stated.
