I have a d16z6 it starts up and idles but when i hit the accelerator it just dies out can anyone help me ?

 

Might want to provide more information on your problem, its pretty vague, CEL? What codes? You need to include all this stuff because I have no idea what you did to it prior or what car its in....

 

it is in a 94 hatch and its not throwing anycodes cause the ecu is a p28 and what is CEL?

 

CEL= check engine light

 

the check engine light is on and nothing is flashing it just idles and thats all it does when i press on the throttle it just chokes out ts just been rebuilt by me and my buddy and he builds d series and he cant figure i out so ?????

Sounds like my mini me swap problem... make sure the block and head are both at top dead center

 

so the check engine light is on or not when the engine is on and running? plus if you had a guy build you a motor or you did it your self you should know how to fix this problem.

 

are there two map sensors? and justt because we built it doesnt mean we know everything either

 

TWO MAP SENIORS NO.. so when you pulled the head off did you take the intake manifold off in which i mean did you disconnect all the seniors and take it off with the head? if not then all the seniors should be still in the same place if not there are seniors that will fit on more than one connection the map seniors and the tps are the same and right buy each other. if you want email me and i will give you my number
