Have you checked that the brake booster is operating correctly?

With the car off, pump the pedal continuosly. It should become firmer. Hold the pedal down and start the car. The pedal should sink down about 1" or so. If it fails these tests then your booster is gone.

Also, like others mentioned, check to make sure that there's no leaks on your calipers / drums / lines / MC.

if the booster was bad there would be no travel of the pedal at all.It would then become manual brakes.

sorry for the late reply i had trouble logging in.
but i checked for leaks and i didnt find any. i have pumped the brakes when it was off but when i turn it on it seems to go further down than an inch. i jus put in a little bit of brake fluid just in case it was leaking but i dont see no apparent leaking. i just dont like the fact that i have to practically floor the pedal for my car to stop

Maybe they didn't do it right and left air in the system?

I've seen shops do much worse...
