It really depends on how you're using the car, but lemme put it this way, my ultimate goal (for when I'm older and ballin
) would be to make my Honda the N/A beast it can be and get like a subi for a turbo car.
Honda N/A power is unlike anything else, IMO, but it costs a LOT and isn't DD material (unless you don't mind the discomfort). So if it won't be your DD and you have plenty of $$, I say stay N/A

It seems every thread on this forum has become an argument thread.
To the OP, I have the Comptech Supercharger and love it. If you go FI, anyway you go, you will have a problem with fuel tuning. We are currently stuck with reflashes only and those are only set-up for around 5 psi of boost, in most cases. Hondata is being very closed mouth about "what" or "if", they are going to do anything regarding fuel tuning for these cars.
AJP has a turbo kit with 8 to 9 psi, that I know Hondata worked with them on, with regards to fuel tuning, but I have not heard much else about it on this site. I believe at least one person on this site has this kit and is pushing 351wph without any problems. This is a turbo set-up which means you have the whole "spool-up" thing. The main reason I picked the supercharger is because I wanted linear power and acceleration. I do ALL city driving and rarely get my RPM over 6,000. With that said, I still want more power. lol
My mechanics work very closely with Hondata on a daily basis. Today when I went in and ordered my Brembo Big Brake kit, I asked them if they had heard anything. My mechanic told me that Hondata is having a major problem creating tuning, because the of the MAF sensor and DBW. They would not even tell him what/if anything is on the horizon.
For those with the Comptech Supercharger, lets all hope Hondata makes good on the promises they made at SEMA last year.
Anyway, it is all about money and horse power. The best I have heard is 220wph with NA. Brain Crower stroker kit, cams, valves and springs might get you to 250 - 260whp, but that means a major bottom end rebuilt and again, I am not sure about fuel tuning. I do not know of anyone who has installed these yet.
Currently the market has a couple different supercharger and turbo set-ups WITH fuel tuning, that can get you anywhere from 230 to 300+whp.
Not sure this helped you any, but it's my $.02.

When you hear the bov release, the surge of power at ALL RPMS even at 3k, power to get up hills, 100+ more lb/ft of torque, way higher power potential, that 1k of additional RPM won't mean all that much.
It's never been being the fastest for me as I live in SOCAL and will never be the fastest, but the extra power is FUUUUNNN.
You tell the guy to go all motor yet you post this: LOL

Blah blah blah indeed, I was exercising my right to state my personal preference and opinion. I was also pointing out to the OP your other post/comments on boost, that's all. Im sorry about your Sunfire.
My personal preference is no way in hell I'd ever own one.

you'd own one if someone gave it to you for free because your audi decided to explode. also makes it possible to keep low miles on my Si and if i ever decide to build it up i wont have to worry about having a car.

What goals do you want for the car? If it's just a street car, pick whatever you like.
If you're into the 1/4 mile, circuit racing, rally, endurance, etc etc. Each has it's pro's and cons. Some naturally prefer NA over boost and vice verse.

it seems to be exactly as you predicted...but as you've stated before it is about personal preference....
as for the OP think about what you want in a car and research what's going to get you there.
