Default redo-ing wheels, redid calipers/rotors

ok well im going to redo my wheels. i stripped them today, i have to sand the rest of the paint that didnt come off dont know how im going to get in some of the cracks...any ideas?

couple of pics after first strip:

also, i clean/sanded my calipers back down then painted them red, they looks REALLY good. and i also am going back to blanks for my rotors. my cross/drilled slotted are warping and my braking sucks now, and is tearing up my brake pads super fast. and i know its not because of going fast, because my car is slow. straight up

rotors before w/ calipers freshly painted:

the blanks with the calipers:

as soon as i get bout $400 im going to get these:
http://www.dezod.com/pd_aem_oe_caliper.cfm

pretty sure they'll also go on 04-05

back when i first got my c/s rotors:

Hmmm... think you'll just have to persevere with it mate. Looks like a bitch but i reckon you'll just have to take your time and do it right. Unless anyone else knows any decent ways of doing it.

You tried searching and looking through threads where people have stripped and repainted?

yeah, and it always seems they have perfect wheels with no hard to reach cracks

maybe i'll jus use the airplace remover stuff until it all comes off and then sand the main parts. :/ or maybe jus pay to have them sand blasted somewhere, can't be THAT expensive.

red calipers

use aircraft remover in a can and spray all over the wheel, it'll get it off.

thats what im using

except some spots it wont wear it off :/ when i spray it on...how long should i let it sit before i wash it off?

well im in the process of repainting them

i've got 2 sanded...one with PRIMER already on. i still gotta get the other 2 off the back and get them done.

oh and by the way, im going with black and leaving the lip.

well here's so far.

sanded:

sanded and primered:

what im wanting for the end result: (this was photochopped, looks like ****, but you get the idea)

i painted my front lip to "match" the car..so its not black anymore. should i go back to black once i finish the wheels? or leave it the same color as the car?

ANDDDD i raised the back up about an inch so that i can have my tires alittle longer, until i get some lowering springs instead of these shitty coilovers. i wish i would get it through my head to do things right the first time. damnt.

i jus got all the wheels completely sanded, 2 are primered, 2 are ready to be primered. then goes on the paint. feels so good to do it the right way and it actually look good before i primer it too.

Looks like a much better job than with the bronze mate. I'd keep the front lip blue but i'd get some side skirts to balance it out a bit, it looks a bit front heavy IMO.

Since you were redoing the wheels, why didn't you take the time to file the curbmarks out of the lip?

And unless you tape really damn well, leaving a polished lip is very difficult to do.
