animal problem

animal problem
I have a 00 accord lx 4cyl, sedan. when the air is turned on it smell like a dead animal of some sort. is there some way for me to access the system and take the thing out?

Remove the dash and hvac box. Disassemble the HVAC box. Clean the inside of it like you have OCD (because you don't want to pull it again). Installation is reverse of removal.
Or remove the cowl cover and check for debris and carcasses. I would do that first.
