Is the 4 year 48,000 mile warranty really worth it. They want 1,500 for it. Should I go for it or not. Makes my payment 30 bucks extra a month. I am thinking I am just gonig to get it.


I am getting an 03 EP3 with 36,000 miles.

 

i would enquire about if there are no hidden fees and what that warrenty covers. Dealerships like to play on that "extended warrenty" ****. They'll extend it alright, extend how much you're going to pay them.

I'd also look into it if you don't know how to work on your car or if there is nobody that you know, know's how to work on Honda's.

 

I am a pretty good self taught mechanic and I have a friend that just got his mechanics degree. The only concern that I have is that I am more of an EF civic guy and new to the newer stuff. The warranty seems pretty straight forward. 1500 for 4 year, 48,000 miles. 100 dollar deductable at any Honda dealership nationwide. It is the Honda Care factory warranty.
