So i jumped in the lake with my remote and iv dried it out and it still doesnt work. My alarm is armed so i had to drive the car home with the alarm going off wich really sucked and it is still armed so wheneever i want to drive the alarm goes off. What are my option.. do i buy a whole new alarm? I have no idea what kind of alarm it is and dont kno how to tell but it came with the car. Any help is appreciated thanks

 

You're going to need to get us a model number...

Crawl up under the dash and look for the bundle of wires... If it's a good install and you can't find the brain, you're going to need to follow either the LED or valet switch back to the brain.

WHat does the brain look like..

 

Looks like a black box, with a whole shitload of wires coming out of it...

 

Depending on the alarm, you can shut it off very easily, ask whoever installed it where they put the Valet Switch, all you have to do is get in the car, turn the ignition on and hit the valet button and it will disarm the alarm.
