alarm system
well they are all gonna hurt your pocket, but if you dont want to hurt your pocket get a pep boys alarm even though the wont do sh*t. I would go with Clifford but they are expensive. Actually an ok alarm would be black widow, for the money that is.
Depends on what you're looking for. If you want the best solution to keep your car form getting stolen the clifford Avantguard 4 will work wonders. It's the only alarm to offer remote fuel cut, so that if the brain is yanked from the alarm the car will still not start. If $1000 is a bit steep for your tastes, any alarm from DEI(Folks who make viper) will suffice. Any alarm is only as good as it's install. After your alarm is installed look under the dash, you should NOT be able to see the alarm, nor be able to tell any wires that they've installed. Sadly enough though your average $200 alarm install will probably be a fairly quick and slopping install. If you're looking for a way to keep the amateur theives at bay then any alarm will work just fine.
Few tips. If you have a detachable face stereo, take it off. Don't leave your cell phone in plain view, actually don't leave anything valuable in plain view. Hope this helps you out.
