Default has anyone ever heard of a low compression head gasket

i heard tha u can buy a head gasket that lowers your compression is there such head gasket like if so where can i buy one

Yeah, thicker headgasket = lower compression, thinner = higher compression. Lowering the top of the head lowers the volume above the cylinder (raising compression) - that's why some people mill the head down, but be weary of where the cylinder head ends .

A lot of people take the Y8 stock 3 layer headgasket and pull the middle layer out to make it thinner, they pick up some compression that way.

What type of motor do you have?

There's a good compression ratio calculator but it's down right now.

D Series Compression Ratio Calculator
B Series Compression Ratio Calculator

Play with the headgaskets there - sorry if that B series doesn't work, the site is down right now ;crook:.

look i have a b18b1 turbo on a hatch the rings are going bad so i wanted to reaplace the rings but im going to ls vtec i know i will have more compression than a gsr motor
so i knowi need to lower the compression on it i cant buy low compressions pistons yet
i dont have the money yet but i have enought money to do ls vtec and rings but i want to lower the compression

those head gaskets arent worth the money.

invest in a oem gasket and arp headstuds and your set no matter what compression.

buddyclub make a turbo gasket, i think its 2mm thick and is useful for lowering compression
