Default 36 mm hub help

Sup guys. I'm replacing my 32 mm hubs with 36 mm CRV hubs. The question I have is what bearings do I use? I bought the CRV bearings and they are too big to fit the knuckle. I think Prelude bearings would fit with the 36 mm hubs but I just want someone to confirm this for me. Thanks for your help.

What US bearing will accomodate a 36mm hub on an EG/DC? The outside diameter is larger on an Accord/Prelude/CRV bearing. It will not fit into an EG/DC knuckle.

Why not just use the 32mm hubs?

I swapped a K20 into my ITR and I hate to deal with changing the outer joints on the axles to fit the 32 mm hub. So I figured I would change the hubs to 36 mm and use RSX axles instead of hybrid axles. So my next question is, would the CRV knuckle fit on the DC2 chassis?

Yes they do the job but I would rather have straight RSX axles.

I have the JDM 36mm axles on my EG race car. I installed ARP wheel studs, lower ball joints, and the wheel bearings in the front this past weekend. I used the bearings from the CR-V. I thought the 32mm regular type R bearings would work but they did not (too small). Contact Clayton @ King Motorsports and he can hook you up.

The machine shop was able to make the 36 mm hubs fit the USDM knuckle. So for those of you interested, that would be one way to do it.

Would you happen to know if the ITR brakes would fit on the CR-V knuckle or did you use the CR-V brakes? If you used the CR-V brakes, will the stock ITR rims be able to clear the brakes?
