I just got a 98 integra and i wanna put mods on it. but im new to all this and i wanna know the best parts/setup. im not gonna be doing any racing or anything, i just want it fast and good loud sound

you best get a'searchin, readin', researchin', etc. etc. Figure out what you want to do. You have to get at least some idea of what you want. You can't have other people tell you everything to do, then it may as well not even be your car.

 

not super loud... just enough to get ppls attention but still legal as far as the cops are concerned. and please dont post if your not gonna actually give me suggestions... I'd like brand names and websites i could go to also.

Police are people. Heck, they may even want to talk to you after you get their attention.

Twin loop exhausts are quiet until the RPM gets high. (Mugen and Hytech make these.)

LOL. They will talk to you when they pull you over for having a loud car, whether it is legal or not. Yu live in CA, so it is best to avoid that situation. Noise does not equate to power.

 

lol... im not really go for a whole lot of power really, im not gonna be doing any racing, i just want it to sound... good... like a real nice sound. power would be nice but im more for sound.

Please reconsider. There's way too many cars on the road with an annoying exhaust and nonfunctional intake. Why not just drive the car and save up for something that both sounds nice and performs well (which is the biggest attention getter)

for sporty Japanese cars. I'd give American suggestions but people here as a rule think badly about any American cars.

 

stock exaust is loud enough to **** off my friends parents when i drop them off. but still quiet enough so i can pretty much go unnoticed on the streets.

if you want your car to just sound louder theres a very simple mod you can do:

1:jack up the rear of your car.
2: take a screwdriver and hammer it into your muffler
3: repeat until you reach desired effect

 

your stock exhaust is loud?? are you sure? i think someone snuck in your garage and put new exhaust on ur car... no way stock is loud. and i dont wanna trick ppl into think my car is fast. i want it to be fast i want power but i also want good sound. not necesarily loud just noticable, and so the cops wont care.

i would love to get a 350z or G35 or S2000, those are my dream tuners... but when i get money for a new car im going for the muscle cars. i think all you guys think im a bit older than i really am.
