Default Gauging interest on a new jumper harness adaptor..

I'm gauging interest in a jumper harness thats currently in development with a disclosed partner of mine.

Being that I get emails and see a plethora of hybrid/tech posts asking if a 99-00 Si engine harness will work in a 96-98 civic, I thought why not make an adaptor harness for this type of application?

Just to be clear for the newbs...
This harness would allow an OBD2a or 96-98 civic owner to adapt a 99-00 civic engine wire harness to their car, specifically an Si or EX engine wire harness.

As an added boner, this adaptor would have an integrated pigtail for the 2nd 02 wiring just in case the user plans to run a US OBD2 ecu in their car and stay smog legit. If you recall, the 2nd 02 wiring on all 96-00 EX/Si engine harnesses is non-existent because its part of the cabin harness.

This jumper would sell for a reasonable price, somewhere around the $200 range.

It is currently in R&D mode as we speak.

Possibly have photos up soon...

dude. i need to ask you something!

anyway, i think it's a solid idea, especially if you spread the word on h-t through sponsorship or something.

lord knows there are enough clowns, err, users ; ) in need of such a thing who don't want to hack around.

that's a great idea.

An obd1 stand alone harness for race applications would also be nice...
