Default Help, GSR Civic hp numbers

Hey everyone, my car will be out of the shop next week. Im wondering what kind of horse power i will be seeing. and what kind of potencial it will have. so, i have a 93 civic hatch with a gsr block, and a sirb16 head. the head has been port and polished and and type r cams, valves and retainers. and as soon as i get my car i will be doing 3in exhaust. so what kinda numbers you think i will ge with a good tune? thanks.

why a 3 inch exhaust??

i would do 2.5, unless your gonna boost it, because 3 inch you will most likely be loosing power.

A GSR Block with a B16 head will actually make you lose power because you lower your compressopn. Put some P30 Pistons in and it will bump you somewhere around the 11.5 area. 3 inch exhaust is also a waste of money for a NA car, Id say go 2.5.

the reason i ask, is i have been working on this for about 6 months so i am just curious what kinda horse power i will be looking at, i will dyno it. and i will be running an all motor set up, and the friends i have that run all motor all have 3in exhaust. why would it be loosing power? with upgraded intake manifold, throttle body, and i port and polish job i would think it would be able to handle the flow with 3in? maybe i will have to look into 2.5in. and why do you say i will be loosing power with a gsr block? what do you think would be better. and i will be building the bottom end just dont have the money at the time. thanks for the help guys
