i've got a 94 GSR and just today a loud rattling sound comes from my engine whenever i hit 3000-4000 rpm and then it goes away after 4000 rpm. it happens through all gears and even when the engine is warm. just wondering if anyone knows what it is. thanks

 

check all your exhaust bolts that happened to me.

 

I had a nasty *** sound/rattle coming from my cat area.... I actually had to get my car up on a lift...start it up..and locate the location. It was my cat...i took it off, and bolted it back up cause it looked fine. Then that noise went away. I'm guessing it was a loose bolt that caused the nasty *** loud rattling noise at 45-5k rpms
