does anyone know where or how to add your own frion in a 2002 honda civic.?

 

In the engine compartment , If you asking this question than maybe you shouldn't be adding freon yourself cause you could get hurt doing it.. Buy a ac recharge kit it should help some..

 

its not that hard... its almost like filling ur tire with air... keep ur eye on the gauge

He's asking where the fill and relief points are on the lines, not how easy it is.

I apologize, I'm a tad tired. I'm still up from about 26 hours ago (I work 3rd shift). I'm just waiting another hour before I can call a shop to make sure some of my car's parts are ready for this coming weekend, and figured I'd pass the time by browsing Honda-Tech.

this is from an 01....

find the low pressure port



get the one u can reuse the gauge.. u never know when u need it again.. $20.00 at advanced auto parts for bottle and gauge

the gauge is self explanatory..
green - low
blue - filled ( FILL TO HERE )
yellow - alert
red - warning
but follow directions for safety precautions, etc..


i used this on my 96 .. i replaced the condenser and recharged it.. old condenser had a huge hole...

hey man thanks for the advice and definitely for showing me where it is. Damn that good lookin out, I like my car i just never been that good with my hands so I rarely touch an engine. Thanks again.
