After doing a bit research on here, I purchase the Pie HON-AUX adapter, which plugs into the cd changer port on the factory head unit and provides RCA left/right plugs so I can use my iPod.
After having it for a few weeks, the unit will shut off about 20 minutes into use, and then the headunit displays a CD-error text. As of today, the Pie unit is completely dead (headunit won't switch over to the cd-changer, which means there is no signal from the Pie line).
I posted to the Pie forums but got a "it should be fine" reply and then they deleted my thread.
I see this person had the same problem:

Anyone else?

Cool, thanks - sounds like the unit may have gone bad since I haven't seen many posts with people having the same issue.
I'm having the same problem, actually... any luck? Maybe the unit can't draw enough current? I've noticed the problem is worse on hotter days... but that might be a coincidence.
