Default radiator cap (searched)

hey. i was just searching to see how a radiator cap would help with anything? i thought it was just a cap. well i searched and it said theyre only good for turbo really. would it be worth it getin a new cp with my mods? ( check my sig)

If there's nothing wrong with your cap, don't bother getting a new one

some caps are rated to hold in more pressure than others. If your motor runs hot and boils the water then it would be better to have a higher pressure cap to raise the boiling point, however it should not get that hot if you have the correct water/coolant mix

If he's boiling over with a stock cap on a regular basis, either his cap's bad, or he's got a serious problem

When my cap went bad, I picked up a TRD cap at work for cheap, but it didn't fit
