95 civic ex
Whats up honda-tech i'm new had a question about my 95 civic ex it has the original single vtec motor 100,xxx it has this crazy idle it use to go away but now it stays it is a very fast idle from 1500 to 2000 grand i change the map, iac, and a valve called the fast idle valve so i no now it could be somethin electrical bcas none of those made a difference so i was wonderin wat it could be if u guys have ne suggestions let me know so far i think it could b electrical, tps, or a vacuum leak that i cant find or there is no check engine

most likey is a vacuum leak. i would spend sometime looking at the hoses, look for any that might be loose or dry rotten.

your best bet, pick up a repair manual. it will walk you through on the proper step to trouble shooting. you can also spend sometime in the search forum, see what other members have discovered.

i wouldn't recommend it. especially if the idle screw is at it's tightest.
