Default Epoxy primer which brand should i buy

I am looking to start on my car's body work. I will be doing this little, by little over time. So i figure i'd do everything up right and spray the car with a 2 part epoxy primer. So i am trying to find a good brand. I also heard this should hold up pretty good until i am done with all the body work, and until i get around to paint. This is a daily driven car, so it will be exposed to the weather.

I also agree!

PPG "DP".

Keep in mind that you can get it in a couple different colors.

Never tried it. In what ways would you consider it better? does it fill better or flow out smoother? Cheaper is always nice if its better. Funny how those words never seem to go together.

Epoxy doesn't really fill.

PPG DP is all I shoot.

Never tried BASF, but their paint shoots nice, so it shouldn't be that bad.

It fills better less paint you need to use(BASE COAT)as much with it.Epoxy primer comes in different colors.epoxy primer is an adhesion promoter to prevent rusting, and covers your bodywork(sanding scratches). What the naked eye can't see under primer .Factory paint jobs come with a epoxy primer, sprayed on the metal for adhesion reasons. It's suppose to be sprayed a coat so light,Misty. As if you where to read a newspaper through the epoxy primer.Epoxy primer is great stuff, and it's one hell of a product.
