i have an HID kit, and it didnt cost to much, i did the install myself. it looks alright. But i still have a the YELLOW turn signals on my housing, it doesn't look the greatest, just because you have like 3 colored blubs at once, so it just depends. 03 lx by the way

check a retrofit forum to gain all the information you need on it, it's pretty much a universal type thing, like if you research it for any other car, you just use the information towards your car and your headlights. easiest thing is to get those crappy looking ebay projectors (TYC) and retrofit those.

whatever you do, dont get r6 bixenons, they barely fit and are a pain to work with in our housings..

but, it is 1000% worth it when youre done.. particularly if you have an 01-03 and get bixenons..

The HID kit that I got was straight from Umnitza. Many of my friends in their BMW's used them with good results so I used it. It had a nice output and a nice cutoff. The thing I hate about people with retrofits think its either retro or nothing or cant wrap their mind around how SOME PnP HID kits are actually half decent so to you for being close minded.

i agree with you george, i was completely satisfied having plain old PNP HID bulbs in my car, i had them for two years and one of the ballasts took a ****. I wouldve never done a retrofit if i hadnt gotten my lenses/projectors/ballasts for free. after i sold my old headlights, it ended up being a negative cost project for my car.

you need to come by the shop man, i havent heard from you in a while.

Here's a link to dirysamurai's diy into TYC. Not what the OP wanted but it should give you a good idea of what you have to do.
