Default H.I.D Plug and play

I'm sorry I'm cheap, but humor me. I bought a plug and play H.I.D kit, I'm sure many others have too so does one know any tricks on how to get rid of some of the glare besides retrofitting? Thanks

Um, search. I don't know of any other ways than that.

Casper shields are a rebasing for hid bulbs. I'm not sure if you can use them for your PnP kit, but here's where to get them. They call them H4 to D2R/D2S converters.

No, you cant use them on a plug and play kit because it's already an H4 based bulb. However, you can simply cut a coke can into a shield and secure it to the base of the bulb. You would want the shield to be on the bottom side of the bulb, so it cuts off light from going to the bottom of your headlight housing and reflecting back up. You can make it as long as you like.. I'd recommend making it longer than shorter [you can even make it go all the way to the headlight glass/plastic if you want].

Just look at the casper shields and model the shield after that..

Just an idea. You'll still get some glare, but not nearly as bad.

how much did the kit cost? 250-350 around that? you could have done an cheap retro for around 300 but ur cutoff line wouldnt look that great. But u would have reduced ur glare a **** load..
