I have a 93 honda del sol d16z6 sohc vtec and I am looking for new head bolts. autozone and some other auto part stores don't have them in stock and the dealership wants $158.02 for a set. That's crazy. Does anyone know where I can get a set of head bolts or can I reuse mine if I add some extra lbs of torque. please let me know.

 

you can re-use them, just one time and you be okay

 

do I need to add any extra torque to them? or go by the book? because I would think I would need to add some extra torque to them

go by the recommended torque specs listed in the repair manual.

 

maybe try going to a racing shop could be cheaper n they r a lot strong. i got ARP on my d16z6
