tinting and the dot matrix
I tinted my fiji blue pearl with 25% on all windows except for the windshield which only has a strip across the top. The tint looks great except for those areas where honda thought it would be a great idea to put the dot matrix on the front and rear windows. I tried to have the strip of dots on the rear window covered up with vinyl on the inside. It looks ok, but there are parts where the vinyl will not completely adhere to the dots. Has anyone found a way to get rid of the dots on the windows or cover them up in such a way that you cannot see them? Someone suggested using vinyl on the outside, but I am not sure how that would look. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I had a little black vinyl strip across my front windshield covering those "dots" on the inside of the window.. it was ok I guess, not really that noticeable with the windows tinted.. as long as it stayed clean it looked ok..
I caught a rock with my windshield not long ago though, never replaced the vinyl strip... I think I like it more without

While it would be nice if there was a way to make them disappear, I can live with the "dots" on the windshield. I have even been thinking about removing the tint strip that I have on the windshield. I am more concerned with the strip of "dots" across the top of the rear window. These I would really like to go away if possible.

^ lucky.
The guy who did my vinyl strip in the back mentioned sanding to get rid of the dots. He said that he could do it but warned me that there was a risk of scratching the glass. He said that the honda glass was typically softer now than it used to be and would scratch pretty easily with sanding. I think scratches under the tint would look worse than the dots. Have you had experience with sanding the dots down Mr. Bolton? (love your music btw.......jk, office space joke

So has anyone been successful in the quest to have a good looking tint job over the dot matrix in the back window of the coupe? Pictures and a description of how it was done would be appreciated.
