if your looking for cheap, then ebay.
But you pay for what you get.

Get one of those $60 ones off of ebay.

On a B7 w/ nothing else on it it's not gonna make a **** of difference if you pay 60 dollars for an ebay one or if you pay 350 for one from DC-Sports.

You'll want a 4-2-1.

4real. on that motor, you'll be lucky to make any power at all. IMO just save your money. unless you have a cracked header or something where you NEED to replace the exhaust manifold </TD></TR></TABLE>

x3432495245324... save your money and find another EM if yours is cracked. Spending 60-250+ for a header (Ebay-DC etc) is just not worth it. Most people make that mistake and slap on I/H/E on a SOHC and that is it. Right there you just blew a grand and ended up swapping out the motor a year later.

that's exactly the problem. My header is cracked. not too bad bit I figured if I have to get a new one might as well get an after market for the same price. and I already have an intake. My buddy sold it to me from his car. $20, K&N.

Have you looked into an Airmass header? They're a division of Holley, and I have one on my car. It has the O2 bung in the correct place for accurate sensor readings, and the thing only cost me $90. The only thing I might have a problem with would be that it has a 2 inch collector, but whatever, it's for a SOHC. It's giving as much performance as any other header would for a DX engine, if not more because the O2 sensor actually goes in the collector and not in a tube coming out of one cylinder.

I would just pick up a stock EM and call it a day with a lot more cash in your wallet. That is entirely just "my" opinion.

Yes, a stock E/M is still an option for you. With a D15B7, I wouldn't look too far ahead in terms of performance. I used to have one. Just look into swapping the engine in the future, and save your money until then, unless you plan to swap a SOHC VTEC.

I have some pretty good rust spots and I;m not sure they are worth fixing. just inspection passable. I need something to get me through inspection so i figured might as well try something a little more aftermarket if it's close to the same price as OEM. I'm getting flown out to CA by my sister in the Navy and whilst i;m out there i'm going to find a rust free platform. hopefully one with bad interior so I can swap my now in and save some money on the inicial buy. I would find one with a crap engine but I need it to drive home.
