Default ex spoiler

so my spoiler is coming off at the edges and my honda dealership said its "normal" but i'm pretty sure it isn't. how would i get it so that my spoiler sits flush w/ my trunk? looking for like an adhesive or a glue to do the trick. any suggestions?

i would go back to the dealer... take him out to the other ex coups and say show me where its normal on these... they need to fix it no questions asked.

Definitely not normal unless your dealer is in mexico and you got it for 5000 bucks with no paperwork.

It does beg the question however, does the car look like crap without it? I've been contemplating removing my little "spoiler" but I'm not sure how the lines would look without it.

difinitely not normal. My LX lip spoiler is not doing that. There was a pic I saw somewhere of a civic with no spoiler at all, I can't remember where though, sorry. But it looked... different I guess. I couldn't really make up my mind whether I liked it or not.

i just took mine off right now lol.

you tried pushing down on it? theres like a tab near the sides, it probably got loose. theres only a little adhesive and its not going to hold it down.

its sitting with bondo right now, going to sand it tomorrow with 400 grit sandpaper.

sorry yo i had to put them back on. i just got a quote from the auto body shop and they quoted me on 400$ just to paint match the trunk

o well i was drunk when i took it off, i guess i just needed something to do.

but ever after the uninstall and reinstall the spoiler sits flush.

all i did was pound it on each side and it sat right down. also bolted up the 2 bolts.

took the words right out of my face...dealership should not ask questions when they see something like that.

Definitely not normal. There's no question about it. You should go back to the dealership and make them fix that, because remember that if you try to do it yourself and it goes wrong, you can lose your warranty on that.
