Hi i have a 2.2 vtec lude. Recently I cannot get into any gear first thing in the morning. After about 5 mins of driving everything seems fine again. Anyone know what is wrong?

 

Change the trans fluid, and see if it gets any better.

some oils take longer to heat

 

Very true, and a transmission low on fluid exhibits these exact symptoms.

 

Cheers lads will change it later today. Would I be right in saying the gearbox holds 1.9 ltrs of oil?

 

yes 1.9 also try the new honda MTF with the white cap bottle works wonders

 

Cheers lads. It took a few days after I changed the fluid but its working perfect now.

 

yea make sure that your clutch fluid is full, i have a 2.2 vtec also and the same exact thing happened to me, when i checked it was completely dry. when i filled it back up after like a day or two it went right back to normal.
