I've done a search, got a few threads, but im not sure if i need the 96-98 cupholder thing in order to make it work.

I tried putting my headunit in, but it wouldnt fit - is there any parts i need to make it fit?

I would like to purchase the double din block off..

Here is my current setup, do you think I can just remove the inner lining from the block above the cupholder and it'll work?

 

I'm not sure about the 99-00 but I ave a 98 n I just had to trim one side of the plastic n I thin on the newer years u just have to trim the back or am I wrong??

 

You'll need to switch to a 96-98 cup holder unit, it's got the mounts for a pocket/tape/cd player and a deck will screw right into the brackets.
