Need some advice on this cam journal? Please help!
Ok so today i decided to re-torque my head bolts, its a new build and i just wanted to do some double checking on the head after driving it around for 3000 miles or so. Well i took everything off to get to the bolts and i found the exhaust cam journal in b/w cylinders 1 and 2 scored. I do not know why this happen. All the other journals are fine. I torque everything to spec and in sequence and my oil pressure is high and normal. I dont understand....
Now my question is, what can i do about this? the head is in great shape, just this one journal is scored. pictures are below. Also on the cam where it sits in that journal its very smooth, which i dont understand either, but u can see the lines on the cam, it appears to be groved, buts its very smooth all the way across...
Any help would be much appreciated!

We have had this problem on two different motors in two different cars. Ours was worst so we sent them to a local cylinder head shop and they had us by a special cutter and installed a bearing. The cutter was like 100 bucks and the labor was only about 50 bucks. We never did figure out what caused the problem so we periodicly check over the new cam bearings.
well ima go ahead and run it, i talked to other engine builders, they say having an over tightn timing belt can cause that. So this time i wont go so tight on the belt heh...well c how it holds up...
