Default burning oil problem

Hi I have a 1995 del sol vtec with 125k on the motor (about 70-80 miles) my problem is its burning oil in vtec what can I do to fix this ? I let my cousin take my car for the night and I guess he was redlining it to **** and I checked my oil and it went from the upper mark down to the lower mark... The oil only burns in vtec. I am using a honda filter with pennzoil oil 5w 30 regular

edit- Its only been 1500k since my last oil change.

Your engine is going to burn oil when its rotating assembly is flying around like that. You shouldn't let your cousing borrow your car if all he's going to do is trash it. You sound like it's just been rebuilt, so why the hell aren't you properly seating the rings?

My motor is not rebuilt.. I hardly ever go into vtec thats why I know it only burns oil in vtec because my last oil period (3000k) i never went into vtec and my oil never moved on the dipstick.

It may be richness soot that is flying out your exhaust, that is not uncommon. VTEC crossover would surely blow out any carbon buildup in your exhaust.
