I dont think anything goes there... Does it actually have a hole or is it just like that?

its a threaded hole and you can see into the block looks like maybe a water temp sensor or something maybe a freeze out plug

I was thinking the same thing. But its not for a sensor. That is where the factory oil cooler connection goes on mine.

so is mine. a b18c1?

If its for an oil cooler like someone up there said, then its supposed to be empty on our cars, they stopped putting oil coolers in after 95. I was pretty sure its supposed to be empty but now im positive if its not tapped.

so whats supposed to go in there because you can see straight into the block looks like maybe a freeze out plug but whatever it is it seems like something like coolant would flow through the hole or something

Lol if you don't want a sensor just hanging off there, I'm pretty sure you can find a threaded pipe plug that will fit there. Just a suggestion.

Knock Sensor should go there.

The Oil Pressure Switch should be located to the left of the Oil Filter Housing if you're facing the back of the block. It should have a single wire that plugs to it with a boot that covers the connector.

The Knock Sensor uses a plug that looks similar to the IACV plug.

Ok Got The Answer To Your Question That Hole In My Block Is Just Blocked Off By A Bolt If You Already Have Your Oil Pressure Sending Unit And Your Knock Sensor You Should Just Plug It Hope This Helped Your Problem. Make Shore The Bolt Is Not Too Long.

For the OE oil cooler. Part#1 threads into that hole. For cars without the oil cooler, just a threaded plug.
