Default Eagle Type s rods

I have a set of eagle rods designed for type s pistons. However im not using type s pistons now. My question is will they work correctly ?

CRS5630J3D 5.630" Honda H22A4 engines for use with JDM Type S pistons

Those are the ones i have.

CRS5630H3D 5.630" stock dimension fitment for Honda H22 engines (except when using JDM Type S pistons), now with 3/8" ARP 2000 bolts!

Those are for use with regular h22's. Length is the same. What is the difference between the two ??

No. The OEM Honda wrist pins are 0.002" (give or take) undersized compared to true 22mm aftermarket wrist pins. You might be able to get the little end honed to size, but you need to talk to a machine shop about it.

I can measure some OEM wrist pins tonight and tell you the exact diameter, but I'm pretty sure they're right at 0.002" undersized (0.864" vs. 0.866").

My answer wasn't clear?

No they will not work on any aftermarket piston that uses a 22mm wrist pin (I've yet to see an aftermarket piston that uses the same wrist pin diameter as an OEM Honda H22 piston).

They MIGHT work if you get the little end honed, but off-the-shelf, they will not work.

I was wondering what you were referring to! Just take them to a good machine shop and see what they have to say.
