Just looking for opinions here. Ive searched a lot and see people say stock sleeves and internals can handle X amount of power etc etc on a good tune. I really want to have a 2.0 gsr but I'm wondering if it's really necessary to have it sleeved if I plan to boost ever, or even if I didn't? At that bore are the cylinder walls so thin that they almost have to be resleeved, or would they still be able to handle a nice amount of power? This may seem like a dumb question but I'm not overly familiar with honda bores and short blocks.

Haha, you and your god damn H2B. I already have the head. Just need the block. Someones offering me a great deal for a block with a cracked sleeve and I'm pretty set on stay B series. Thanks for the advice but as I always say in everyones else thread, I didn't ask what you would do with x amount of money, so answer the damn question! You're lucky you're usually helpful Ek.
LOL, since you've already got the head, I would just bore the gsr then.
I was presuming you hadn't purchased anything yet.
Bore the b18
I'm not too familiar with boring/stroking, but I know you can bore to 2.0L size, but to achieve 2.0L displacement you'll have to change the crank.

Wtf? Haha, get a life bro.
I'm sorry you come on H-T to laugh at people you think you know more than. Seems like a pretty meaningless existence. If you're so above the question, why not enlighten someone looking for information? Ah, cuz youre a dick who needs a little self esteem boost by tryin to act smarter than someone in an online car forum. You don't see how pathetic that is? Like I said, if you have nothing HELPFUL or CONSTRUCTIVE to say, why say anything at all?
On a side note thanks to the someone who actually DID help me through pm. So now I know I must sleeve to go 2L.

here's one, it looks like you can buy a stroker kit. And I would presume with an upgraded valvetrain you're stock stroke will be fine with the new bore.
And 84mm looks like the goal for a street car. You'll maintain a more round bore and maintain the crucial sleeve strength. You WILL need upgraded sleeves though.
LS crank would be a good idea as it's the 2.0L crank in the b20 (A stroked b18b)
Having a minimum 84-84.5mm bore will also help ring and headgasket seal.
