Default Need to get rid of that In-Cabin Turbo Smell for a hot date ? Check it out...

Often times I need to freshen up the 'scent' in my car for certain reasons *wink*wink* I've had this for a while, but never gave it a though that someone else might like it... until now...

If you want to have an air freshner in your car, but don't want to clutter your car.... or you just want to be slick, try my 'invention'.

*Look at the A/C vents on the top corners of your dash (the one that de-frost your windows)
These vents only come on when you activate the last two buttons on the right of the A/C controls (one is vent+feet and one is just vent) Your windsheild vents will open up as well.

* Choose the air freshener of your choice (I like to re-scent air fresheners w/ a nice cologne)

*Carefully pop out the top, corner A/C vents with a spoon (don't use a screwdriver, it could scratch)
There is a pressure clip on the underside front and rear portion of the vent that presses into the hole in the dash directly

*Using some double sided tape (or what ever rig you want) mount the air freshener in the cavity under the vent
It's not a huge hole, so choose the air freshener with this in mind. And don't block up the vent completely.

*Once done with the first vent, do the other, but using both vents gives a pretty strong scent, quickly
I put air fresheners in both vents myself and if you need to de-stank your ride or you smoke anything in your car, both vents work well, but are not necessary.

That's it... $2 or $3 and a 5 minute install for both vents !

To test it, simply put your A/C on 1,2,3,4... whatever and just switch the control to vent and VOILA ! Built in air-freshener... now you can go to the shows and floor 'em. Heh heh heh....

Just but a dryer sheet (fabric softener) under each seat and you`ll be good to go. You`ll be surprised how powerful those things are.

Probably... he heh heh heh....

I love the open tube It give me that extra ROAR when I get on it that my quiet *** exhaust just doesn't do.

And I love that in cabin smell !! Just, sometimes I need to freshen up the ride. It really does work well... doesn't use ANY useable space and is clutter free (no ugly air fresheners in the car).

Can you smell what X2's cookin' ?

My car smells like gear oil and those clips you were talking about I already broke them with a screwdriver. So every time I boost the vent hits me in my head.

If you own a 92-95 hatch, turn your a/c get your scent of choice, open the glove box, and spray behind the glove box...make sure the A/C is on recirculate..the a/c intake is down there.

Hehe fabric softeners are an awesome last minute freshener. They dont last long enough to always do it tho.

have sex in the backseat to get rid of the smell. but then again.. the smell of the dumptube might be better than the smell of punani.
