94 Integra...need help!
I had this problem last year...stopped using my car for the winter and now its doing it again. I bought a new starter, new distibutor, and a new battery last year. I jumped it and it ran for a few minutes. I turned it off and came back a hour later and it wont start again. It tries to start and makes a chugging noise and then there's a clicking noise down by the fuse box. Im not sure what it is so if you could help let me know. Thanks
Is it still turning over? or is it not turning over at all just clicking? Does it turn over real slow, like not slow enough to start it? If its just clicking it probably just needs a jump and your alternator should be able to keep it charged if you drive around for 5-10 minutes. If its not that go to the next easiest thing check your starter.
Sounds like it could be a battery or grounding issue. If a car battery sits in a discharged state for too long, it will lose its ability to hold a charge. Try jumpstarting the car - if it starts right up, it's most likely the battery.
