What setting do you guys use on your tig for alum piping ?

Default What setting do you guys use on your tig for alum piping ?

Just curious what setting you guys use on your tigs for doing 1/16 intercooler piping. Im using 3/32 filler rod which i think is a bit to thick.

I personally use 1/16th 5356 filler.
Taper amps down with thumb or foot pedal when part comes up to heat ( also near end of weld bead )

120 amps (dont use all of it!)

Dham your tig has alot of options. Im gonna try

Licoin PT185

Balance on auto and Freq on off and 100amps and gas at 15.
