Default car dies and ecu fuse blows???

i have a 92 hatchback just swapped an ls motor in it b18b1 and i put a brand new battery in it and it ran good for a few days only drove it around the block and around town once or twice. Then the other day it started boggn a lot on me and the battery light has been on since day 1 start up so im thinkn alternator but idk what happens is ill jump start it itll run good for a minute and does a little bogging at low rpms then when i take it for a drive it boggs a little in between 2 and 4 thousand rpms and each time i drive it the shorter distance i can go and everytime the car dies the ecu fuse blows and even if i put a new fuse in right away it won't start. is the alternator the cause of this problem? AND ALSO IT feels slow as hell at high rpms way different then it did when it was first running.

Sounds like an ECU grounding problem.

when i did my gsr swap it did the same thing. it would iddle for ever as soon as i drove it the ecu fuse would pop. after using 8 fuses to drive a mile i put a 30amp in it and made it home. the next day i discovered the coolant temp sensor was shorting out. a little electrical tape and the problem was solved. so if i was you i would check a the sensors and make sure they arent grounding out. look really close because the insulation right next to the plug had broken on mine.

you have a short circuit somewhere in your wiring. Revise your wiring.

I had the same problem.. Someone I bought my engine harness from cut a wrapped some wires in the harness. BUT, he did not tape them, heatshrink over them or anything.. something was grounding out and I just replaced the whole harness. I got a new one for $40 from a guy I know.

Is your fuse the right size?
