Default what am i doing wrong?

i have a 99 civic si with a greddy turbo@ 7psi.....i ran it at the track the other day and my times are still crappy!
r/t= .859
60'=2.534
1/4=15.827
i launched at like 5500 rpm and it seemed like my tires were spinning half way down the track, this was only my second time at the track. The first time i ran a 17?? so what is going on? my top speed was only 88.88
Any suggestions would be very helpful i know my car is capable of alot better
(i have no idea what happened)

Seems to me more like a problem with your setup...

Have you ever got the car dynoed?

Also post your other mods....

your RT doesnt matter cause its not bracket racing. get your 60ft down and then se what time you have. that MPH is kinda wack, tell me what fuel set up you have.

your clutch would mess your times up, but your MPH is so low, that even the worse clutch would have a better MPH in most cases. Its hard to say, if your car dynoed at 199 then you should run 14's easily, in your opinion can you drive? the driver makes everything

you should have a higher MPH like mid 90's maybe low 90's. all turbo cars have high mph's. you have the mph of a stock si. if your not getting fuel cuts then i dont know what swrong, all i can say is get you 60's down to a 2.2. Then see what kinda times your doing. I cnat help, wait till soemone with the same setup replys, sorry

his dyno #'s not tuned are good 199hp. thats not bad for 7psi. so even without tuning he should still have a better 1/4 time and mph then what he did have.

**** 199 in a civic , you should be high 13's if not mid 13's
when i was putting out like 170ish all motor i was pulling higher 13's in a teg.
get some slicks and a clutch and i bet thats the majority of the problem

Sounds like you have a nice setup.
Although it doesn't mean jack squat if you
don’t know how to use it. J/K Seriously I think its
a driving error. Do you feather the clutch? You said
your wheels spin out half way down the track. If your
clutch is going out, that’s another story. You might need
some better tires. Traction is important. That’s just my
two penny's worth though

oh, ididnt see the elvation , the clutch will only affect the mph becuase of traction, bogging between shifts, slipping , whatever. but the low mph is the traction im sure.

i have been dumping the clutch, should i try to launch at 4k and feather the clutch?
another thing i get very nervous staging and tend to do very shitty at launching
so my question is dose the time start when you leave the line or when the tree goes green? if it is when you leave the line then i could take my time and not get so nervous
thanks to everyone for the responces
